MXP is a very handy protocol which can be used to allow mudders to click on text, embed graphics, and give contol over font, color, and text. This might not be a high priority, since only some the most advanced codebases support it, but it's a very handy feature. Given that Savitar already parses html, this should not be difficult at all to implement. The protocol is documented here: http://www.zuggsoft.com/zmud/mxp.htm The Dawn of Time codebase supports MXP. www.dawnoftime.org. If you wish to see a mud in action, we've got something set up at: mf.dawnoftime.org 1111 Ask anyone about MXP, and we can show you around. |

QUOTE (Mack @ Feb 16 2005, 03:25 AM) There is only one piece of software that supports MCCP for the mac. However, it's actually a proxy, not a client. Cantrip supported MCCP v2. It is still available for download, if you wish to try it out. |
